Angry Birds developer confirms “Seasons” update to celebrate Easter, cross device sync

If you know anything about the Angry Birds game, the hit app found on almost every portable device out there, then you know about its sister-app, Angry Birds Seasons. Seasons is a special version of the main game that is updated every holiday with a theme for the holiday. With it being so close to Easter, you can probably guess what the app is being updated with now. Rovio just announced that Angry Birds Seasons will be updated next week with an all new Easter theme along with a new set of levels for the app.

Along with the announcement of the updated app, Rovio also tweeted: “on a solution to get all Angry Birds devices in sync.” This would mean that if you have both an iPhone/iPod touch and an iPad, you could have the same game progress on whichever platform you played on. This would be a huge help for people with multiple devices (me!), saving them countless hours trying to redo levels they’ve already beat on their other devices.
