Galaxy S Gingerbread update pulled, needs a little more work

The Gingerbread update that was pushed out to UK Galaxy S devices this weekend has now been pulled. The update seems to have an unspecified issue that was identified after the release. Vodafone is reporting that Google is responsible for the suspension of the update, and the issue is apparently not universal (Galaxy S devices on Vodafone are said to be unaffected), so the carrier is trying its hardest to get the update back.
