Apple testing iPhone for T-Mobile

BGR is reporting that Apple is testing their popular iPhone 4 (or what looks like an iPhone 4), on T-Mobile USA’s 3G network. This doesn’t mean that Apple is releasing their phone on the nation’s #4 network. The Cuepertino-based company is most likely testing the 3G bands on T-Mobile, in preparation for the impending merger with AT&T. 

This is a great thing though, since it could mean that even if the merger doesn’t go through, Apple could still make a GSM phone with multiple US carrier support built in (or even a GSM/CDMA/LTE hybrid
