Verizon Wireless Droid Incredible 2 – Review

Battery – 10 / 10

Out of all the smart phones I’ve used and owned just about everyone has had some issue with battery life. Most Android Devices get 8-10 hours with heavy use. When I received the Droid Incredible 2 (DI2) I charged it to full and the next day unplugged it and then came down with a nasty flu, rendering me useless for a few days. After I returned to normal I picked the device up and noticed it had 60% battery life, so I went to battery statistics and was blown away after reading that the device had been on for over 72 hours (3 days). I then used it for the rest of the day and drained the rest of the battery down. I was so amazed that this such a battery sipper. The 1450mAh battery is not that big compared to other Android devices with this screen size.

Specs – 8 / 10

This phone has almost everything a current smart phone should have including XXin screen, Front Facing Camera and Android 2.2, a tad disappointed that this device did not have the latest version of Android (Gingerbread 2.3) and that it also did not sport a fancy shmancy dual core processor, nor does it have Verizon’s stunning 4G LTE for a modem.

Fun – 10 / 10

This phone is fun, mainly because it lets you talk, text, surf, tweet, tumble, shoot and share all day long with its wonderful battery life.

Overall – 28 / 30

This device is a world phone and will work on VZW here in the states and on the Vodafone network over seas. This is a wonderful phone for someone who might need a slight boost in speed without killing the battery. Go buy this phone worth every penny!
